The new public transport timetable comes into effect on Sunday, 10 December. Due to the permanent closure of Terminal 5, the former station “Flughafen BER – Terminal 5” will be renamed “S Schönfeld Bhf”. This also means that the addition for the previous station “BER Airport – Terminal 1-2” can also be dropped. From Sunday, the station at the airport will be simply called “Flughafen BER”.
From this Sunday, BGV’s express buses X7 and X71 will no longer run to the station “Flughafen BER – Terminal 5”/new: “S Schönefeld Bhf”, but will again stop at “Lieselotte-Berger-Straße” after starting at the “Rudow” underground station before taking the A113 motorway to “Flughafen BER” in front of Terminal 1.
From 23 December 2023 there will also be changes to the RVS lines:
