Due to the announced strike by a train drivers' union, there will be restrictions on rail services nationwide from today, 7 December (10 p.m.) until Friday, 8 December (10 p.m.). Regional and S-Bahn connections to/from BER will also be affected.
The following regional and S-Bahn connections will be operated during the strike.
- ODEG RE8 (BER Airport - Berlin-City - Wittenberge - Wismar), every 1 hour
- S-Bahn S9 (BER Airport - Berlin-City without Ostkreuz - Friedrichstr.), every 20 minutes
All other train journeys to/from BER are expected to be cancelled.
Alternatively, the BVG bus lines X7 and X71 via Rudow underground station (U7) can be used for arrival/departure.
