Air Transat is resuming its direct service from BER to Toronto, Canada, with immediate effect. This means the Canadian airline is starting its season earlier than last year. The route will be operated up to three times a week (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays). The airline is thus adding an extra flight per week to its schedule during the peak season. The non-stop flights are scheduled to run until 23 October. At Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), travellers also have convenient connections to further destinations in Canada and the USA thanks to a codeshare partnership with Porter Airlines.

With flights to Canada now operating again, travellers from Berlin and Brandenburg can discover a city brimming with energy: Toronto impresses with its skyline, modern art galleries and a vibrant music and theatre scene. The surrounding area of Ontario offers a wide variety of adventures: from charming lakeside vineyards and historic towns to spectacular national parks that are perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling or kayaking, there is something for everyone. A particular highlight are the world-famous Niagara Falls, which are among North America’s natural wonders and are ideal for a day trip from Toronto.
