Eurowings is expanding its route network from BER. The popular route to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates will be available until June. Until the end of April, the airline will continue to fly eleven times a week to the desert metropolis on the Persian Gulf as originally planned. In May and June, there will be six flights per week. These additional flights until June offer holidaymakers the chance to experience Dubai outside of the traditional peak travel season. May and June are ideal months for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the city's many attractions.
Eurowings is continuing to focus on growth in the coming winter season. The European route network is being expanded to include another appealing connection to a capital city. From 2 November, the airline will operate four weekly flights (on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) from BER to Rome. This route will appeal to weekend and leisure travellers visiting Rome for short trips or long weekends, as well as business travellers needing to travel at the beginning or end of the week.
With the addition of Rome, Eurowings is continuing to build on the expansion of attractive European capital city connections from BER that began in the 2026 summer flight schedule. From 29 March, the Lufthansa subsidiary will fly up to twice daily to London Heathrow Airport. The following day, 30 March, will see the addition of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, to the schedule, with flights operating twice a week (on Wednesdays and Sundays) from BER. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will follow on 9 May, with weekly flights operating every Saturday. In July and August, an additional flight will be added on Thursdays.
