Arrival by public transport

S-Bahn lines S9 and S85

From 08 May (10:00 p.m.) to 18 May (1:30 a.m.), the S-Bahn lines S9 and S85 will operate only between BER Airport and S Schönefeld. The S-Bahn will provide a rail replacement service with buses. The replacement bus services operate as follows:

Bus S9X

BER Airport <> S Schöneweide (bus stops en route only at S Adlershof)

Bus S9A

S Schönefeld <> S Schöneweide (bus stops en route at all S-Bahn stations)

In addition, there may be restrictions on S-Bahn services during the night when travelling to and from the airport. These restrictions are not listed individually here but can be accessed at any time via the VBB journey planner.

FEX and regional trains

FEX / RE20: Until December 2026, both lines will jointly operate at a frequency of four services per hour.

In addition, there may be deviations from the regular timetable for the airport express FEX and the regional train lines RE 20, RB22, RB24 and RB32 (including partial cancellations or diversions). These restrictions are not listed individually here, but can be accessed at any time via the VBB timetable information service.
