German tapas and snacks to accompany your drink: With „Adler & Bär“ a new restaurant has opened in Terminal 1 at BER. The bar is located in the publicly accessible check-in hall and offers travellers, accompanying persons and visitors the opportunity to relax before their departure or say goodbye to friends or family over a drink in a peaceful setting before passing through security control.
The open-plan bar has around 70 seats and is centrally located in the check-in hall of Terminal 1 – directly below the artwork ‘THE Magic Carpet’ by Californian artist Pae White. The menu includes breakfast options such as ‘Hauptstadt-Müsli’ (capital city muesli) and a vegetarian ‘Berlin-Club Stulle’ (Berlin club sandwich), as well as regional classics such as Berlin currywurst and Lausitz potatoes with linseed oil. The menu is complemented by a wide selection of drinks.
‘Adler & Bär’ is operated by the catering company Casualfood, which already runs several restaurants and bars at BER Airport. The new bar is open daily from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. and expands the range of dining options in Terminal 1 at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
