S-Bahn

During the winter holidays, from Friday, 30 January (10:00 p.m.) to Friday, 6 February (1:30 a.m.), S-Bahn trains will only run between BER Airport and Altglienicke S-Bahn station. The S-Bahn will offer two rail replacement services during this period:

  • SEV S9X (Express) between BER Airport and Baumschulenweg (stopping at Adlershof, Schöneweide and Baumschulenweg)

  • SEV S9A between Grünbergallee and Baumschulenweg (stopping at all stations to Baumschulenweg)

Use the FEX and regional trains via Hauptbahnhof, Potsdamer Platz, Südkreuz, and Ostkreuz for your arrival and departure. Always plan your journey by public transport in advance at vbb.de.

Strike at the bus companies BVG and RVS

The local transport companies BVG and RVS, which operate buses to BER Airport, will be on strike from Monday, 2 February (3 a.m.) to Tuesday, 3 February (3 a.m.). There may also be cancellations before and after the strike. Passengers traveling to and from BER can use the FEX airport express and regional trains. Please note that the S-Bahn lines will be interrupted during the winter holidays, from Friday, January 30 (10 p.m.) to Friday, February 6 (1:30 a.m.), due to construction work. The S-Bahn will offer a rail replacement service during this period. Always plan your journey by public transport in advance at vbb.de.

FEX and regional trains

Especially during the night, there may be deviations from the regular timetable for the airport express FEX and the regional train lines RB22, RB24 and RB32 (including partial cancellations or diversions). These restrictions are not listed individually here, but can be accessed at any time via the VBB timetable information service.
