Doing good together

Published: 09 December 2025, 10:38

Under the motto ‘Doing good together’, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) donated a total of €10,000 to charitable organisations and associations in the neighbourhood of BER during the Christmas season this year. Whether it's new football walls for the school playground, warm jackets for the youth fire brigade or modern sound equipment for the music school – the donations enable initiatives in the surrounding area to realise their dream projects.

A group of children and adults pose in a room decorated for Christmas with large symbolic donation cheques.

On 8 December, Airport CEO Aletta von Massenbach (4th from left, 2nd row from back) and FBB Regional Representative Christian Franzke (1st from right, 2nd row from back) presented the symbolic cheques.

These initiatives were delighted to receive a donation

The airport company had called called on charitable associations and organisations to apply for the donation initiative with their Christmas wishes. By the closing date, more than 120 diverse applications had been received, demonstrating the wide range of activities in the region. Ten organisations were selected through a random draw, each receiving €1,000 from FBB.
