Passengers at BER Airport now have the opportunity to explore the new EXPO 2035 Berlin Store in Terminal 1 and learn more about sustainable urban development and the vision of a World Expo in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Together with Global Goals für Berlin e.V., BER supports this platform for dialogue and engagement around a sustainable future.

The initiative promotes a bid by the Berlin-Brandenburg region to host EXPO 2035, with the implementation of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) at its core. The store is part of a growing network of dialogue spaces across the city.

A special highlight is Piano No. 8 from the “17 Pianos – 17 Global Goals” campaign, which has found a permanent home in the store. It represents the goal “Decent Work and Economic Growth” and invites passengers to sit down and play.
