In its 2025/2026 winter schedule, easyJet will station two new Airbus A321neo aircraft at BER. The modern Neos will replace older A320 models as part of easyJet's gradual fleet renewal programme and will primarily be used on flights to winter sun destinations such as the Canary Islands, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca, Funchal (Madeira), Agadir and Marsa Alam. This will increase the number of seats available on these routes from around 180 to 235 per flight. In addition, the modern Neos are more fuel-efficient than the previous models and will help reduce noise pollution in the region. The first A321 is expected to arrive on 26 October 2025, with the second aircraft following on 1 January 2026.
A new connection to London Southend will be added to the easyJet flight schedule from BER on 7 November. The route will operate twice a week (on Mondays and Fridays) and will complement the existing London services, providing passengers with another attractive option alongside Gatwick and Luton. London Southend is considered a relaxed alternative, offering quick connections to the city centre, and it is also close to the English coast, which is renowned for its charming cafés and sea views. easyJet is also adding Seville in Spain to its winter flight schedule.
