Eurowings will fly to Dubai earlier

Published: 04 June 2025, 15:40

Eurowings will fly from BER to Dubai from 2 October this autumn. This will make the metropolis on the Persian Gulf accessible three times a week for October holidaymakers and families who want to travel during the autumn school holidays. The aircraft will take off for Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. From 26 October, there will be daily flights to Dubai International Airport (DXB). From 4 November, DWC will be served four times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays). In its 2025/26 winter schedule, Eurowings will fly to Dubai eleven times a week.

Premium seating on the BER–Dubai route

Eurowings will launch a market trial of its new premium seating category on the route from BER to Dubai in November 2025. The Premium BIZ Seat is aimed at business travellers and holidaymakers alike and is designed to offer more space and comfort on longer medium-haul flights. The seats, which are arranged in a 2x2 configuration (two seats on each side of the row), feature adjustable backrests, ergonomic design and generous padding. The new seat product will be available for booking from August 2025. The new premium seat complements the existing BIZclass seat fares (free middle seat with extra legroom) and the Economy fares SMART (with optional extra legroom) and BASIC.

Connections between airports and Downtown Dubai

Both of Dubai's airports are well connected to the city centre. Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) is located approximately 50 kilometres south-west of Downtown Dubai. The city centre can be reached in around 45 minutes by express bus or taxi. In addition, popular attractions such as Dubai Parks and Resorts, Jebel Ali Beach and the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Park are conveniently located near DWC Airport and offer a wide range of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. The centrally located Dubai International Airport (DXB) is only about five kilometres from the city centre and is easily accessible by metro, numerous bus lines and taxis.
