Sea breeze or Northern Lights? Snorkelling or winter sports? Eurowings is expanding its route network from BER with two exciting winter destinations that couldn't be more different. In its 2025/2026 winter flight schedule, the airline will fly to Marsa Alam on Egypt's Red Sea and to Kittilä in Finland, offering turquoise waters and sunshine galore as well as snow-covered landscapes and winter magic.

Soak up the sun in Marsa Alam

Starting on 9 November, a plane will depart from BER every Sunday at 7:10 a.m. for Marsa Alam, arriving at the Red Sea at 1:00 p.m. The return flight also departs on Sundays at 2:00 p.m., arriving at BER at 6:05 p.m.

Marsa Alam is a popular winter destination, known for its crystal-clear water, colourful coral reefs, exciting diving and snorkelling spots, and beautiful beaches.

Ski holidays in Kittilä

From 31 January to 21 March 2026, Eurowings will also fly once a week from BER to Kittilä in Finnish Lapland. The winter wonderland can be reached every Saturday at 2.20 p.m., arriving in the snow at 5.10 p.m. Flights in the opposite direction will depart at 6 p.m., arriving at BER at 8.50 p.m.

Located in the heart of Lapland, Kittilä offers access to the Levi and Ylläs winter sports areas. The area around Kittilä is one of the best places in the world to marvel at the Northern Lights.
