Freebird Airlines is an airline founded in 2000 and based at Antalya Airport. It is complemented by Freebird Airlines Europe, based in Malta, as its European branch. The airline has been connecting the capital region with destinations in Turkey for 25 years. The first flight took off in April 2001 from Berlin-Tegel to the Turkish capital Istanbul.

Freebird Airlines currently flies several times a week from BER to Antalya in Turkey. Both companies operate a fleet of Airbus A320s, which are used for scheduled and charter flights.
