In the 2026 summer flight schedule, Air Canada will connect the capital region non-stop with Montréal, Canada’s second-largest city, for the first time. From 3 July, Canada’s largest airline will operate flights to Canada three times a week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Via its hub in Montréal, the airline offers numerous connecting flights within North America.
Initially, the route will be operated using a Boeing 787. From mid-July, Air Canada will deploy an Airbus A321 XLR (Extra Long Range) aircraft on the route. This modern and efficient aircraft model will make its debut at BER and will be used in Germany for the first time. It has 182 seats, 14 of which are in Business Class and 168 in Economy Class. The flight time from BER is 8 hours and 40 minutes; the return journey is one hour shorter.
Air Canada is Canada’s largest airline. It offers flight connections across six continents, including numerous destinations in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. The airline is a founding member of the Star Alliance and the only international network carrier in North America with a 4-star Skytrax rating. With a fleet of over 400 aircraft, Air Canada has one of the youngest, most efficient and environmentally friendly fleets in the world.
