Arrival by public transport

Please note the restrictions when arriving and departing by public transport. Up-to-date information on travel times and replacement services can be found on the website of Verkehrsverbund Berlin Brandenburg - VBB 

FEX and regional trains

• FEX / RE20: Until December 2026, both lines will jointly operate at a frequency of four services per hour.
• Berlin Stadtbahn: Due to extensive maintenance work, the Berlin Stadtbahn line between Charlottenburg and Ostbahnhof will be completely closed to regional and long-distance trains from 14 June until 12 December 2026.

In addition, there may be deviations from the regular timetable for the airport express FEX and the regional train lines RE 20, RB22, RB24 and RB32 (including partial cancellations or diversions). These restrictions are not listed individually here, but can be accessed at any time via the VBB timetable information service.

S-Bahn lines S9 and S85

From 18 August 2026 to 31 August 2026, a rail replacement bus service will operate between Schöneweide and Treptower Park S-Bahn stations due to construction work on the S-Bahn line. Travellers should also consider using other modes of transport, such as the FEX or regional trains, for their journey.
