Condor is now operating flights from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. This new long-haul route adds a major international hub to BER’s network. The airline is operating the flights to the Gulf region as a codeshare with Etihad Airways. Travellers from the capital region can benefit from daily direct flights to Abu Dhabi as well as seamless onward travel options, for example to Bangkok in Thailand, Hanoi in Vietnam or Sydney in Australia.
Flights currently depart daily at 16:40 from BER and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 01:00 the following day after a flight time of six hours and 20 minutes. In the opposite direction, Condor flights depart Abu Dhabi at 02:15 and land at BER at 07:15 after a flight time of seven hours.
The time difference between the capital region and Abu Dhabi is currently two hours and will increase to three hours when Germany switches to wintertime on 25 October 2026. With the start of the winter flight schedule, the departure times for the outbound flight will also change. Flights will then depart from BER at 10.00 each day bound for Abu Dhabi, arriving at 19.20 local time. The return flight will arrive at BER as early as 06.20. An Airbus A320neo with 180 seats will be used on this route.
Thanks to the codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, travellers from the capital region have access to numerous connecting flights via the Abu Dhabi hub. Travellers wishing to fly to destinations in Asia, Africa or Australia can therefore book their entire journey, including the stopover in Abu Dhabi, in one go.
