easyJet is adding two new destinations to its route network from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in the summer of 2027. With Rimini, the airline will serve a popular Italian Mediterranean destination. With Ljubljana, easyJet is offering travellers from BER another exciting connection to a capital city. Both destinations are accessible directly from BER for the first time and are already available to book, expanding the travel options for passengers from the capital region.
From the start of the summer timetable in 2027, easyJet will operate flights up to twice weekly from BER to Rimini, a popular holiday destination on the Italian Adriatic coast. The townscape is characterised by Roman-era buildings and a picturesque old town, as well as a sandy beach stretching for around 16 kilometres. Due to its historical significance, Rimini is also known as 'Little Rome'.
From the start of the summer timetable, easyJet will also be connecting BER with Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. This route will operate twice a week. Ljubljana is a compact metropolis that is easy to explore, with a vibrant cultural scene, historic architecture, and numerous green spaces. It is also an ideal starting point for travelling around Slovenia.
easyJet will fly to both Milan airports for the first time in the 2026/27 winter timetable. Travellers will therefore benefit from both the international connections via Milan Malpensa and the particularly central location of Milan Linate City Airport.
In addition, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights to Newcastle upon Tyne from 20 November to 21 December 2026. With its markets, festively decorated streets and historic sights, this northern English city is considered an attractive destination for a city break during Advent.
