Wizz Air now flies from Berlin Brandenburg Airport to Sofia. The Bulgarian capital will be served four times a week, all year round. Flights will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The route will be operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft, which can carry up to 239 passengers. With the launch of this new route, Wizz Air is further expanding its services from BER. The winter flight schedule will see the number of routes from BER increase to a total of 18.
Sofia
Travellers can now also reach Sofia with Wizz Air and enjoy an additional direct flight to the Bulgarian capital. Sofia International Airport is located just about ten kilometres from the city centre and is well-connected to public transportation. Sofia is one of the oldest and most historic cities in Europe, and offers a blend of cultural heritage, impressive architecture, and vibrant city life. The destination is ideal for both a short weekend getaway or city break, and a longer vacation with excursions to other regions of Bulgaria.
