Congratulations, Freebird Airlines! Together, we’re celebrating 25 years of flight operations and with it, a quarter-century of successful connections between the Berlin metropolitan area and popular vacation destinations in Turkey.
Founded in 2000, the airline began flight operations in April 2001. Among its earliest routes was the one between Istanbul and what was then Berlin-Tegel Airport. Today, the airline offers several weekly flights from BER to Antalya and transports thousands of vacationers from the Berlin metropolitan area to the Turkish Riviera and back.
The airline operates Airbus A320 aircraft, which are used for both scheduled and charter flights. The airline, based at Antalya Airport, is complemented by its European subsidiary, Freebird Airlines Europe, headquartered in Malta.
