This summer, Eurowings is launching a new route to Kavala. The German holiday airline will now operate flights between the capital region and the northern Greek coastal town. During July and August, flights will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). The flight time is two hours and 30 minutes. This new route expands the range of holiday destinations available from BER, offering travellers an exciting direct connection to northern Greece.

Situated on the Gulf of Thasos, Kavala offers a blend of historic sites, a vibrant harbour atmosphere and Mediterranean serenity. As well as sandy beaches and a deep blue sea, the region offers a wide range of excursions into the surrounding hills and mountains, and to traditional villages. With its cosy tavernas, charming landscapes and relaxed atmosphere, Kavala is an attractive destination for anyone wishing to experience the Greek way of life away from mass tourism.
