Fly to Beirut with
Middle East Airlines

Published: 26 June 2026, 14:00

Middle East Airlines now operates flights from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. This provides the capital region with an additional direct route to the Middle East. The Lebanese airline’s aircraft take off from BER four times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flight schedule has been designed to allow for flexible travel when visiting friends and relatives, enabling extended weekend stays and longer trips. The airline operates Airbus A320s, which can accommodate 180 passengers.

The new route is particularly aimed at travellers who want to visit family and friends back home. The capital region is home to a sizeable Lebanese community, as well as many people with ties to the area. Beirut also serves as an important regional hub, connecting travellers to neighbouring countries. Therefore, the route is particularly relevant for travellers heading to Syria and other destinations in the region.
