Wizz Air is continuing to expand its route network and will connect BER with Sofia from this autumn. From 20 September 2026, the airline will fly to the Bulgarian capital four times a week. The route will then feature in the airline’s timetable every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Wizz Air is thus continuing its strong growth at BER Airport. The summer timetable saw the addition of new routes to Bratislava (Slovakia), Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara (Romania). At the same time, the airline has increased frequencies on many existing routes.
