Eurowings is expanding its services at Berlin Brandenburg Airport and will launch new routes from BER to Sarajevo and Olbia from May 2026. Both destinations add attractive options for city breaks and holidays to the airline’s route network.
Flights to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina are now available once a week, every Saturday. During the summer holiday period between 2 July and 27 August, Eurowings is adding an extra flight on Thursdays, meaning the route will be served twice a week during this period. The flight time is approximately one hour and 55 minutes. Sarajevo brings together a diverse range of cultures, religions and eras within a compact area. Thanks to the short journey time, the city is ideal for a city break and also serves as a starting point for trips throughout the Balkan region.
The new route to Olbia on the Italian island of Sardinia operates twice a week, on Tuesdays and Sundays. The flight time is approximately two hours and 20 minutes. Olbia is situated in the immediate vicinity of the Costa Smeralda and offers access to some of Sardinia’s most famous coastal regions. The town is an ideal base for a seaside holiday as well as for exploring the north of the island at your own pace.
