Eurowings is expanding its route network with a new connection from BER to the Red Sea. The connection to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia is now offered three times a week (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays). The flight departs from BER at 21:20 and arrives in Jeddah at 05:00. The return flight departs at 06:30 and arrives at BER at 10:35, taking just over six hours. The service will be operated by an A320neo aircraft.

Jeddah is already the second destination in the Middle East to be served by Eurowings from BER. Since 27 October, the airline has resumed flights to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, operating seven flights a week on this route.

As part of its winter flight schedule, Eurowings flies from BER to attractive destinations in Germany, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The destinations range from the Nordic countries (Helsinki, Gothenburg, Tromsø, Stockholm) to classic winter holiday destinations (Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Hurghada) and family and home visits (Yerevan). From 14 December, the airline will be flying to Faro in Portugal.
