Rovaniemi

As the capital of Finnish Lapland, home of Father Christmas and located directly on the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi promises authentic Nordic experiences. In winter, Lapland, Finland’s northernmost region, is transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland that is perfect for snow hiking, ski trips, reindeer sledging and watching the northern lights. The various national parks provide clearly signposted hiking areas, spectacular gorges and dense forests.
