With Qatar Airways to Doha

Qatar Airways has connected Doha in Qatar with the capital region almost continuously since 2005. The connection was suspended only briefly in 2020 during the Corona pandemic. Currently, the popular route is flown daily with a 254-seat Boeing 787-800 or a 311-seat Boeing 787-900. The connection is of interest to both business travellers and tourists. Via Doha Airport, travellers have connections to Asia, Africa and Australia/New Zealand.

Qatar Airways at BER

In winter 2005, Qatar Airways launched a new service from Berlin-Tegel to Doha. The success of the nonstop connection to the Persian Gulf was reflected in the continuous expansion of flight offerings: flight days were continuously increased and larger aircraft were deployed. A particular highlight of the Qatar Airways success story in Berlin was the landing of the A350 on the BER southern runway in November 2020. This marked the official start of operations on BER's new runway.

Qatar's national airline has won several awards since it was founded in 1997. According to the Skytrax ranking, the member of the oneworld alliance is the world's most popular airline. This is confirmed by the excellent service on board, which passengers can enjoy on the approximately six-hour flight from Berlin to Doha.

Doha

Dreamlike sandy beaches, ornate palaces and futuristic architecture: the Arabian desert state of Qatar is a country full of contrasts. Between oriental tradition and western modernity, the small country in the east of the Arabian Peninsula has charming vacation destinations to offer. The capital Doha is particularly fascinating with its imposing skyline, spectacular skyscrapers and the lively Souq Waqif. In the National Museum, you can immerse yourself in the history of the country, which has risen from a former nomadic land to one of the richest countries in the world. On the artificial island of The Pearl, you can experience the rise up close. The view of Doha from the seven kilometer long Corniche promenade is also unforgettable.
