Luxair, the national airline of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, was founded in 1961. The airline has been connecting the Berlin-Brandenburg region with Luxembourg, a key financial and administrative hub of the European Union, since 1991. The route is served up to twice daily. Flight times are optimised to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers.

The modern fleet, consisting of De Havilland Q400, Boeing 737 and Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, is currently being further modernised with new, more efficient and sustainable aircraft. As a full-service carrier, Luxair offers in-flight catering on all flights – regardless of the fare booked. In addition, Luxair is integrated into the Miles & More frequent flyer programme.

Luxembourg delights visitors as a cosmopolitan capital with modern architecture, a UNESCO-listed old town and a unique cultural diversity where many languages and nations come together. At the same time, the city is an ideal starting point for discovering the diverse regions of the Grand Duchy, from castles and palaces to wine-growing regions and stunning natural landscapes. The Benelux country is the first in the world where public transport is completely free of charge.
