From October 29, the winter flight schedule will go live hand-in-hand with the change from summer to winter time. The most popular destinations are the European cities of Amsterdam, Zurich, Paris, Vienna and London. The most sought-after countries include Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Turkey and France.
As a long-haul connection, Norse Altantic Airways will be flying from BER to Miami from 15 December. This new direct connection to the USA will be operated once a week by the Norwegian airline using a Boeing Dreamliner. On October 30, the Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings will start connecting the capital region with Dubai in the United Arab Emirates four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
On medium-haul routes, the 2023/2024 winter flight schedule offers numerous sunny destinations. EasyJet will be flying from BER to Cairo from 17 December 2023. In addition, easyJet offers three more destinations in Egypt from BER: Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh. As usual, offers for the Canary Islands will increase during the winter season. Destinations like Lanzarote and La Palma are once again back at BER.
Travellers who want to experience winter on holiday can fly from BER for the first time to Tromsø in Norway or to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland. Popular winter destinations such as Innsbruck in Austria are also back on the flight schedule from BER.
