The Scandinavian airline SAS now flies more frequently from BER to Copenhagen. The number of flights is increasing from 7 to 12 or 13 flights per week. This means non-stop flights to the Danish capital from BER twice a day almost every day. It takes just under an hour to fly to the idyllic port city, which is also the ideal starting point for a holiday on the Danish Baltic Sea.
A description of Copenhagen almost always includes the expression “hygge” (relaxed). The Danish capital lives up to this expression in many ways: its picturesque location on the Baltic Sea, pretty streets and buildings as well as a city centre oriented towards cyclists and pedestrians. This means that the city can be easily explored on foot or by bike. Highlights include Nyhavn harbour with its colourful houses, the royal Amalienborg Palace and the statue of the Little Mermaid.
Numerous places in the city, squares and green spaces offer little oases of relaxation – whether strolling along one of the many canals or through the many pretty streets, or stopping for a break at one of the many cosy cafés. All things considered; Copenhagen exudes a unique cosiness that immediately enchants visitors.
