Excitement and anticipation grow as the blades of the colourful helicopter sitting on the apron at the BER start to spin faster. As the helicopter readies itself for its imminent "Berlin City" flight, the ascent to roughly 700 metres in altitude is announced.

Berlin Helicopter is the only company flying over Berlin's city centre and around the TV tower. The 20-minute "Berlin City" flight is just one of the four routes that Berlin Helicopter currently offers. The programme also includes the somewhat shorter "Berlin Skyline" tour, a sightseeing flight over Brandenburg and East Berlin from Strausberg, as well as a "Candle Flight Dinner”, sightseeing flight including a fine dining menu.
