Berlin Brandenburg Airport has 2 terminals.

The terminals are called:

  • T1
  • T2

The letter T stands for terminal.

 

Terminals 1 and 2 are next to each other.

Terminals 1 and 2 are easy to reach on foot.

It is best to be at the terminal 2.5 hours before departure.

How to get to Berlin Brandenburg Airport

It is easy to get to Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

By train

It is easy to get to the airport by train.

For example, you can take a train from the main station

of Berlin (Hauptbahnhof).

Take the train to the airport station.

The station is called: Airport BER – Terminal 1–2.

By car

Take the A 113 motorway.

Take exit 8.

The exit is called: Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg.

Follow the signs to Terminals 1 and 2.

By S-Bahn

It is easy to get to the airport by S-Bahn.

The S-Bahn trains run every 20 minutes.

Take line S9 or line S45.

Get off at the station: Airport BER - Terminal 1–2.

Parking at Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Berlin Brandenburg Airport has

many multi-storey car parks

and other car parks.

Accessible parking is provided in all parking areas..

 

Accessible means: Barrier-free.

For example, there are no obstacles

for people in wheelchairs.

 

Parking is best in the car parks:

  • P1
  • P3
  • P7
  • P8

Then you do not have to walk so far.

 

You can also park in car park P6.

The walk is about 10 minutes.

Important information

  • The parking lot in front of the terminal is for short-term parking.

This means:

No parking for longer than 10 minutes.

  • P8

How to leave the airport

You have several options to leave the airport.

By S-Bahn

Take line S9 or line S45. 

The S-Bahn trains run every 20 minutes.

By train

Take a direct train to the main train

station (Hauptbahnhof) of Berlin

from the airport station.

The airport station is in Terminal 1.

It is on level U2.

By taxi

Taxis are always available at the airport.

Taxi stands are in:

  • Terminal 1 on level E0

By rental car

You can rent cars at:

  • Terminal 1 on level E0

By car sharing

Car sharing spaces are in car park P4.

Car park P4 is at Terminal 1.
