As part of our media presence on Facebook, FBB uses Facebook Pixel. Facebook Pixel is a service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland. Meta Platforms Inc. is headquartered in the United States (Meta Platforms Inc., One Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA).
Facebook Pixel is a tracking technology offered by Facebook and featured in other Facebook services. It is used to track visitor interactions with websites ("events") after clicking on an ad on Facebook or other services provided by Meta ("conversion"). The technology allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be measured, evaluated and optimised for statistical and market research purposes.
The use of Facebook Pixel by FBB does not allow FBB to draw any conclusions about the user's identity. The data collected (e.g., the IP address of the user) is transmitted to Facebook by the action pixel. These are stored and processed by Facebook for the purpose of measuring conversion. FBB receives anonymous reports from Facebook on conversion measurement. In addition, these reports do not permit any conclusions to be drawn about a user’s identity. However, it cannot be ruled out that Facebook will link the transmitted data with other personal data about the user (e.g., user data of an existing Facebook account) or that Facebook may use the corresponding data for additional purposes of its own. FBB cannot influence any data processing performed by Facebook. For information on data processing by Facebook, please refer to the corresponding privacy policy of Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
A cookie or pixel can be stored on the user's computer to enable the use of Facebook Pixel and the tracking of corresponding activities. The data will only be processed after receiving your consent (Article 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) to the use of the appropriate technology.
Data processed by Facebook Pixel: ads viewed, content viewed, device information, geographic location, HTTP headers, interactions with advertising, services and products, IP address, items clicked, marketing information, pages visited, pixel ID, referrer URL, usage data, user behaviour, Facebook cookie information, Facebook user ID, usage/click behaviour, browser information, device operating system, device ID, user agent, browser type.
The longest potential storage time that can be set on a device when using the cookie storage method is 1 year.
This service may transfer the data collected to another country. Please note that this service may transfer data to a country that does not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the USA, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes, potentially leaving you without any entitlement to legal recourse. For more information on security guarantees, see Meta's privacy policy.
