BER is very well-connected to Berlin and the surrounding areas with public transport. Closely scheduled bus and train connections make a quick arrival and departure possible. The “Flughafen BER – Terminals 1-2” train station is located directly under T1; from there, you can reach Berlin city centre in 30 minutes by regional train. From Terminal 2 it is only a few minutes to the airport station. In addition, the S9 and S45 S-Bahn train lines connect BER to the city centre, travelling every 20 minutes. The service is complemented by buses.
