Items that are lost at the airport, for example, at the security controls or in the arrivals area, can be collected from the Lost Property Office, provided that they are handed in there. The Lost Property Office is located in Terminal 1. If you have lost something in the aircraft or on the apron bus, please contact your airline directly. Deutsche Bahn or S-Bahn Berlin and the BVG is responsible for lost property in the railway stations or on public transport. If you have lost your passport or identity card, please also contact the Lost Property Office or the Federal Police. The Federal Police are also responsible for issuing replacement identity cards. Foreign citizens should contact the consulate responsible for them directly.
