The security area of Terminal 1 was evacuated following the activation of a fire alarm in a public toilet on Friday lunchtime. During the evacuation, there was a mixing of arriving and departing passengers on the apron. As a result, all passengers had to leave the security area. The Federal Police are currently searching the area for dangerous objects. Subsequently, all departing passengers have to undergo another security check. This is currently causing considerable delays in flight operations.
