There are still longer waiting times at the security checkpoints. This is due to necessary renewed security checks of passengers. Please check your flight status with your airline. We kindly ask for your understanding.

All measures have been lifted, cleaning is done, security checks are running high. Passengers are checked as they queue. Passengers who have previously purchased liquids from Heinemann are allowed to take them with proof of purchase. Arrivals are proceeding normally.

Within the next 30 minutes, check-in will resume at the security checkpoints. Please proceed calmly through security, flights are waiting.

The Federal Police expect that aviation security checks on passengers will be able to resume at around 14.45.

The security area of Terminal 1 was evacuated following the activation of a fire alarm in a public toilet on Friday lunchtime. During the evacuation, there was a mixing of arriving and departing passengers on the apron. As a result, all passengers had to leave the security area. The Federal Police are currently searching the area for dangerous objects. Subsequently, all departing passengers have to undergo another security check. This is currently causing considerable delays in flight operations.

Attention: There are currently delays in flight operations. After a fire alarm was triggered in a public toilet, the security area has to be cleared. Passengers who have already been screened will have to go through security again. Please pay attention to the announcements in the terminal. Subsequent flights will be delayed.
