Find out in good time before your trip on how you can best prepare for security control.
In order to avoid congestion when boarding, we ask that you take just one piece of cabin baggage per person and to take note of cabin baggage regulations when packing.
You can generally use any security control after checking in and dropping off your baggage regardless of whether in Terminal 1 or 2. All boarding gates are accessible from each control point. Information on how busy security control areas are can be found on monitors at the airport, on the website or in the Berlin Airport App.
You can also use the four preparation zones in Terminal 1 for final preparations before your flight.
