Passengers at BER can check in themselves and their baggage independently. Several airlines offer this service, either for baggage check-in only or additionally for printing their boarding pass.
Self-service helps passengers to be processed more quickly and supports on-site hygiene measures. For this reason, the number of self-service machines at BER has been significantly increased – a total of 99 machines are available in Terminal 1. A further 19 kiosks are in operation in Terminal 2.
