With the Jewish prayer area, there is now also a place of peace for prayer in the security area at BER.

Jewish believers can now pray in peace in the security area of BER Airport. At Gate C21 in Terminal 1, a Jewish prayer area was opened on 9 June 2022 by Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal and Thomas Hoff Andersson, Chief Operations Officer of the airport company.

Gate C21 primarily handles flights to Israel, including El Al. Israel's largest airline has been connecting the capital region with Tel Aviv for more than 30 years. Its planes take off from BER seven times a week. The Room of Silence is already located in the public area of Terminal 1. There, people of different religions and cultures have the opportunity for devotion and reflection.
