From 27 June to 2 September, easyJet will fly twice a week from the capital region to the Greek island of Kefalonia, adding a further route to the British airline’s network for summer 2022. Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays.
Kefalonia is a popular holiday island in Greece’s Gulf of Patras. Sandy beaches, smalls bays and mountains make Kefalonia a destination for beach and hiking holidays alike. For an amazing bathing experience, Myrtos beach is situated at the foot of limestone cliffs stretching several metres high. Equally exceptional is Xi beach with its red sand. If you’re staying on the island, a trip to the charming fishing village of Assos is a must, along with the Melissani stalactite cave with its underground lake.
