New in the Eurowings Programme: Fuerteventura

Prolong your summer with Eurowings: from October 2nd 2021 the airline will be flying its new route from BER to Fuerteventura. This Canary Island is being introduced into the flight schedule, initially once a week. The flights are to take place always on a Saturday, taking off from BER at 07.00 and arriving in Fuerteventura at 11.10 hrs. The return flight from the Canary Island will take off at 11.55 and land in Berlin at 18.00 hrs. Flying time is a good five hours. 

As of November 4th 2021 already the new route is to be increased to two flights per weeks. From then on, flights will be on Thursdays and Saturdays with an A320. Since opening its base at the BER location in May 2021, this subsidiary of Lufthansa has broadened its commitment with three stationed machines of the type A 320 at the capital city’s airport.

Anyone seeking a sunny destination for the autumn holidays and thereafter is well-advised to choose Fuerteventura: Sunshine is as good as guaranteed on this “Island of Eternal Spring”. With temperatures of around 20 degrees, Fuerteventura is an attractive destination at any time of the year, but particularly so in autumn/winter. Fans of water sports in particular get their money’s worth here: surfing, diving and snorkelling are a dream come true on the second largest of the Canary Islands.

This unique water sports paradise with its kilometre-long beaches and turquoise sea is also a popular destination for families and those on a swimming holiday.
