Exhibition at BER

at Terminal 1

The pop-up exhibition at the capital’s new airport begins with a flight through the development of BER and aviation history in Berlin-Brandenburg. The exhibition will be ceremonially opened on 30 October 2020 and will be open to the public from the opening of Terminal 1.

Due to the current Corona regulations, the exhibition will remain closed for the time being until November 30.

Passengers and visitors to BER can find out about the important events in the history of flying, from the first demonstration flight of a gas-filled captive balloon to Otto Lilienthal's flight experiments, the development of Johannisthal airfield and Tempelhof as the first real commercial airport in the world.
