Where to find the taxi rank

Quick to the city

with a taxi

Passengers arriving at Terminals 1 and 2 use the north and south taxi ranks in front of T1 on Level E0. Departing passengers alight from the taxi on Level E1 and can immediately check in there. Terminal 2 does not have its own right of way. Travellers follow the signposted footpath between the terminals.

Passengers who need a special taxi, e.g. a taxi suitable for the disabled, one with a child seat or a large capacity vehicle, please contact a service employee of our service provider APCOA who will be happy to help you. You will find the service staff at the respective taxi stands.

All taxis from the district of Dahme-Spreewald waiting in front of the terminal are subject to the current tariff of the Ordinance on Transport Charges in Taxi Traffic of the District of Dahme-Spreewald.

Attention

Please make sure that you only get into a vehicle marked as a taxi at the designated taxi stands. Outside these areas, there is a risk that fraudulent suppliers will be found.

If no other route has been agreed, the taxi driver is obliged to take the shortest and therefore cheapest route.

You are free to choose which taxi you want to take at a taxi stand. It is usually expected that you choose the first taxi in the row, as it has been waiting the longest.

You are free to decide whether you prefer to sit on the passenger seat or in the back seat.

Since 2007, a general smoking ban for drivers and passengers has also been in force in taxis.

The taxi regulations applicable to departures from Berlin Brandenburg Airport stipulate that every passenger must be driven to any destination in the Dahme-Spreewald district or the state of Berlin on request. In addition, taxi drivers are obliged to drive to various other destinations, such as the cities of Potsdam, Teltow and Erkner as well as the communities of Nuthetal, Zeuthen and Petershagen-Eggersdorf.

If you need a receipt, the driver is obliged to provide you with one, which can be used for tax, fare discrepancies or to contact the taxi company in case of forgotten items in the taxi. The receipt must contain the following information: Name and address of the taxi company, serial number (corresponds to the number on the rear window), route, fare, time and date and the driver's signature.

Please contact an APCOA service employee at one of the taxi stands.
