Due to various construction work on Berlin’s suburban railways, there are restrictions when travelling to and from BER on suburban train lines S45 and S9. Please use alternative means of transport, such as FEX or regional trains, to get to and from the airport and check the VBB website before setting off.
All-day restrictions from 17 to 24 May
From 17 (10 pm) to 24 May (1.30 am), the S9 and S45 suburban trains will not be running continuously throughout the day.
- The S45 will only run from BER Airport to S Altglienicke and from S Baumschulenweg to S Südkreuz.
- The S9 will only run from BER Airport to S Altglienicke and from S Schöneweide to S Spandau.
- A rail replacement service is already being organised from BER Airport to S Baumschulenweg. This will run from bus stop B at Airport City.
