easyJet is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Berlin-Brandenburg. Congratulations! On 28 April 2004, the first aircraft with the distinctive orange-and-white livery landed at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport from Liverpool. It’s now hard to imagine the capital region without easyJet. The airline also started flying from Berlin-Tegel in 2018. The opening of BER was an important milestone in the long-standing partnership between the airport company and easyJet. On 31 October 2020, easyJet was one of the first airlines to land at BER’s new Terminal 1 and was the first airline to take off from here a day later.

easyJet has been making an important contribution to the connectivity of the capital region for 20 years. With its extensive route network, the airline boosts tourism and Berlin Brandenburg as a business location and has demonstrated its commitment to BER with investments such as its on-site hangar.

In the 2024 summer timetable, the airline will fly to more than 50 destinations from BER, including the five new destinations Antalya, Izmir, Toulouse, Birmingham and Salerno. There are a wide variety of easyJet flights from BER that are interesting for business travellers, city breaks, families and those just wanting to relax. The most popular easyJet destinations are currently London, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris and Basel
